Selling your property during a separation, without escalation or tension
A single, strictly neutral point of contact to handle the sale of your jointly owned property on La Côte, in Terre-Sainte and around Lake Geneva with tact, discretion and efficiency, serving both parties’ interests equally.
A neutral broker, for a calmer sale
Absolute neutrality
I take no one’s side. Each party receives the same information, at the same time, in the same terms.
Complete confidentiality
Your situation stays strictly between us. Discretion towards third parties, neighbours and your professional circle.
One point of contact
You do not have to coordinate with each other. I act as the link between you both, and with your lawyers and your notary.
My approach in separation situations
My role is to facilitate the sale, never to take sides or to settle your separation. I stick to the facts: the property, the market, the timetable.
A professional, documented valuation, given to each of you in identical terms. That common basis defuses most disagreements.
I work hand in hand with your lawyers and your notary, so that the sale fits naturally into the proceedings, without creating additional friction.
Viewings, negotiations, signing: the sale is conducted with restraint and efficiency, preserving the dignity and peace of mind of each party.
How I support you
Listening
A confidential conversation to understand your situation, your constraints and the pace that suits you both.
Valuation
A professional valuation of the property, shared in identical terms with both parties to serve as a common reference.
Marketing
A carefully handled, discreet listing, to obtain the best price within the timeframe agreed together.
Completion
Negotiation, signing at the notary and distribution of the sale proceeds, in liaison with your advisers.
The longer the sale takes, the more the costs add up: mortgage, maintenance, taxes. Moving forward calmly also means protecting the interests of both parties.

Frequently asked questions
How does the sale of a property work in the event of a separation?
Both owners have to agree on the sale and on the price. As a neutral broker, I make that agreement easier by providing an objective valuation and by handling the marketing even-handedly.
What if one of the parties is hesitant to sell?
Several options exist: one party buying out the other’s share, letting the property temporarily, or, as a last resort, going before a judge. I point you, together with your advisers, towards the solution best suited to your situation.
Is the valuation shared with both parties?
Yes, transparency is essential. The valuation report is sent to both parties in identical terms, so that it serves as a common basis for the decision.
How long does it take to sell?
The timeframe depends on the market and on the type of property. On average around Lake Geneva, allow 3 to 6 months between listing and signing at the notary.
